Original ATI 5770 drops 50% of performance after sleep in Mac Pro 3,1

Does mountain lion fix this?

Has this problem been fixed in Mountain Lion?

For us 3,1 owners, the 5770 and 5870 are upgrade options, but its a shame about the sleep issue in 10.7. Please let it be known if this has been fixed

just put a 5770 in my Mac Pro 3.1 (2.8 octa) and no problems at all in Mountain Lion.
