... I understand that. I'm saying I did not believe the rMBP had HDMI 2.0, and am asking if this is incorrect. I'd look it up myself, but the Apple specs pages just say "HDMI".
Only HDMI 1.4 at this point.

Just to let you know 10.9.3 beta graphic drivers work great on our Mac Pro (Late 2013) with Sharp 32" PN-K321 4K display (DisplayPort 1.2 MST) Currently using 2560 x 1440 scaled setting...text is sharp and clear, menus are sized correctly for our normal computer, developer, and graphic use. Wow..it feels like we have a new computer!
3200 x 1800 is the next choice on beta drivers for those wanting more screen real estate and still have readable menus. The Native resolution 3840 by 2160 good for video and photo editing but menus are way too small for my eyes. 10.9.3 beta is a big step in the right direction for 4K.
isn't the Asus display the same as the sharp for 1k cheaper ? I know MKBHD on youtube is running 2 x asus 4k monitors on his nMP
On Amazon, the Sharp is currently $3100, the Asus $2900, and the Dell $2500... and I believe they all use the same panel.
Is there somewhere else that has the Asus for a lot less?
Confirmed, latest build still does not support daisy chaining. Bummer
Hopefully 10.9.3 perfected with *gasp* public beta testing, will be ready along with a Retina ACD for WWDCOne can dream anyway.
Is the nMP even capable of driving a 27" 5120x2880 display at 60Hz, if one became available? Is dual Thunderbolt input a possibility or just more wishful thinking?
