Dreamweaver 5 is a comin'

I understand that Dreamweaver 5 is in beta. It has a lot of ultradev features. I do not know if it has been carbonized. Anyone else have any information. Fireworks 5 is nowhere in sight.

I switched from GoLive to Dreamweaver to teach a class in it and really like its site management features. It runs on classic (as does Fireworks) but I wish it was carbonized so that it wouldn't crash so often due to some sort of memory leak.

Any thoughts?

I'm thinking of moving over to dreamweaver. typically I've had nothing but crashes with macromedia products (recently I had to do a flash project on my powerbook because flash REFUSED to let me touch the alpha slider without giving me an error-crash message)...I've also tried freehand and it was super buggy, especially in the most imporant part of all: previewing shapes and things.

just got to get away from those damn 20k scripts in golive...I hope they fixed it in GL6, but from what I've seen dreamweaver seems to write a lot better code.

does ANYBODY know about the new tech in flash 6? like specifically actionscript....did they add new stuff? maybe regexp support finally he he?
