Almost everyone I know that has jb'd their iPhones, iPads, and iPods, are only doing it to customize the look of their devices and to get rid of the bloated, stock software that they don't use or want, in order to free up space on their device. They don't do it to get free apps or unlimited free in app purchases. There is a big difference between wanting to customize something that you bought and paid for, and legally own, and taking something that you didn't pay for, that someone else owns. And nowadays, you take the risk of being compromised anytime you connect to a public wi-fi or download anything from somewhere or someone you have not researched or personally know. As someone who has been around and jb-ing devices in one form or another since the pre Metallica lawsuit, nabster days, I have never had an issue with being hacked or having any of my apple devices breached in anyway, not one winsuck owner can claim the same. Besides, would you pay full price for a car, then allow the cars manufacturer decide how your car should look inside and out? No you wouldn't & iPhones are no different. If you own it, you should be able to do what ever the hell you want to with it, just saying
