Give us your score, 1 being not at all stable through 10 being super stable.

I gave it an 8, although it's early days yet. Really the only crucial thing that isn't working for me is Mail, and Airmail works well enough as a temporary replacement that it is not that bothersome.

I gave it an 8 also. Safari works even though slow. Chrome is really only thing not working. Mail is a pain with it not allowing delete from the notifications and the swipe to delete feature not working but those will be fixed and I'm dealing with it for now by just manually deleting emails. The OS is really stable other than little things & Chrome may be a Google code thing that they need to fix.

I've actually been having no trouble with Safari. In fact, 10.0 seems to have squashed a rather persistent bug on El Cap where it would frequently fail to load content rich pages like The Verge.

Would you install it on your daily driver or are the bugs/problems too heavy to run macOS Sierra on a daily basis?

It's installed on my daily driver. Nothing so bad that I can't work around it. As I mentioned above, Mail is the only thing not working for me and there are plenty of excellent 3rd party apps that do work to fill the gaps, and webmail as a last resort I suppose. But YMMV. I don't use Adobe CS or really any heavy lifting pro apps.

Sounds good to me, how about battery performance compared to 10.11.5?

Seems about the same, if not a little better actually. I've yet to get the advertised battery life out of my Retina MacBook Pro, I suspect because I'm watching a lot of web-based video as part of my work. But I was off charger for about 6 hours today before I dropped to 25%, so much closer than usual.

Installed on an external SSD (LaCie Rugged SSD) as a clean installation, accessed via TB1. Zippy, no crashes with the stock apps. 10 out of 10.

Posted with Safari 10 and without any slanted perspectives.

Looks nice, but I avoid Gmail, Chrome, and any other "free" service Google offers that exists solely to sell info to advertisers so ads can be targeted at me. I know, it's unavoidable to a degree, but I try to avoid contributing to that where I can. Still can't find a comparable product in search, though. I love the concept of DuckDuckGo, but their results just don't compare.

If you're fine with a few hangups here and there, then DP1 is fine for daily use.

The iMessages app lags sometimes when typing but otherwise it's pretty much fully stable. Maybe a clean install will solve it. I might try that this weekend.

It's not "fully stable". It's still full of bugs and shouldn't be counted on for serious use.

Yes, that is typical of beta software. The purpose of this release is for the developer community to use the software and submit bug reports so Apple can identify what needs to be worked on prior to public release. Expecting stability this early is nothing short of insane.

I wonder if it's a debug build which will make it slower than usual. It's a dog on my 2010 MBA but flies on 2014 MBP.

Pretty Impressed so far. All my dev tools worked with no issues

Homebrew Works
RubyMine Works
Xcode Works
nginx works
mongodb works
redis works
postgresql works
VMWare Fusion works

Man, on my macbook pro, I'd give Sierra probably a 3 right now. Safari is literally unusable, System Prefs continuously crash, CPU usage is through the roof, and (as a result) battery life is about 2 hours. Basically it's shelved until the next build.

Changed my vote to a nine. Once all the optimisation/icloud uploads/indexing/deep learning settled everything has been running like normal, including Safari and its extensions. I reserve my right to change it again down the track should anything crop up ;)

I'm a 5 largely because Mail won't run for me - gets stuck trying to upgrade my Library. Not an issue as it's not my primary machine and I'm finding it otherwise stable, but if people are looking at this score to evaluate whether it's fit for day-to-day use, then my answer would have to be no.
