OWC Ram Issue 2020 iMac 27 inch I7

Speak of the devil, I just got a reply from OWC support. They want me to try a few things so I thought I'd post that here in case it helps anyone.

1) Try cleaning the contacts on the RAM with an eraser, then when testing each module do the following:
2) Reset the SMC.
3) Reset the PRAM. Wait for 3 chimes.

Did that fix the problem? Asking because I'm having a similar issue myself.

The common denominator to everyone in this thread with issues, is 4 modules of OWC memory. This really looks like a manufacturing defect or oversight on the part of OWC.

Nope. I'd already gone through all that before even emailing them. This isn't my first rodeo with flakey RAM so I've been through this before. Last time was with the OWC RAM in one of my 2008 Mac Pro machines that was experiencing ECC errors. I'll eventually make use of their lifetime warranty, but right now I'm poking along with just half the RAM. I have a 2020 iMac with 128GB of OWC RAM that hasn't (so far) given me any trouble.
