Know the feeling! Only at the sunrise we saw the sun then 🌧View attachment 2172566 Same on my side - mostly cloudy and very greyish. Tried to create some shadows with a flash, but did not succeed.
Walked today to the central station and it is the best I could get this week.
Great entries from all of you. Very inspiring. 💪

Jealous of your sunshine; it's been really gloomy here, and even some snow in the air today.
He's a fun little guy and I like how the light came through the lens and made a bright patch within the shadow. For lack of other opportunities my lens had to suffice again…

Ooh! Really interesting. Museuam light can be hard to work with, but I like how you used the wall for your shadow.Just a quick one for now. Went to the museum this weekend and was very fascinated by the shadows of the artefacts. Will be posting more photos soon

Well it seems fairly original to me, given that I don't have heads in rock statues near me! Cloudy days are hard to find shadows, but they are still there. 🙂
Yep! Excellent example of finding shadows when even the light doesn't seem cooperative.Pretty gloomy this week, but I got some cornice shadows late this afternoon.

love that you are still looking.
Got a chance to reshoot this. Is this better? I went 2 stops down. Thanks!Jealous of your sunshine; it's been really gloomy here, and even some snow in the air today.
For your second, if you get that patch of sun again, I'd drop the exposure so that you don't blow out the bit on the floor; it will also cause your shadows to go darker; you can slide down the exposure before you shoot in the phone app. 🙂 That's a lovely little corner to work with.
