I've been practicing more ICM. It's kind of addictive and also kind of frustrating. I'm slowly starting to get the hang of what areas might make an interesting image, but as happy as I am that our trees are green and not brown now, I'd love to try this somewhere that has more color to it.

I like ICM but feel a bit silly shaking the life out of my camera in public 🤣

Crocuses have popped out in the past couple of days and today Aspen leaves are just beginning to unfurl. Both images are from the little Oly TG-6. Close-up setting at 18mm (100 eq).

many of the first blooms of spring are done here, but there's another round coming up

it's so nice that spring has sprung everywhere!

yes, well so far i've only tried it in relatively secluded places! i have seen some really interesting city styled images though that i'd love to try at the right location.
