The epipetric Asplenium septentrionale is getting its new leaves. It's an evergreen, though, and its older leaves can be seen hanging.
Same flowers, same dismal morning light. This time I used the wide angle portion of the lens. At ƒ-2 I could have easily hand held, however chose to again use the flash. Other than resizing and a bit of sharpening, pretty much the way the JPEG came from the camera.

I like the little flowers that sometimes appear in tall, unmowed grasses.
Like tiny little trees
It is clear that I am not going to be able to keep up with you all this week! You are all so amazing for the participation so far! ❤️This is one of my favorite photo subjects. View attachment 2203102

A different Allium and a Spat Mum: how same colours and different shapes can be played by nature
These might reseed close to where they are planted if you don't deadhead them, but the do not spread like Johnny Jump Ups!View attachment 2203303
Will they jump? 😉
Thanks, I imagine that because some are from last year and there are new plants coming up...just walking 😄These might reseed close to where they are planted if you don't deadhead them, but the do not spread like Johnny Jump Ups!
