OK, had to have an iPhone photo. My project all week and fully assembled yesterday.
Had an "L" shaped corner desk for several decades and finally got rid of it. The replacement desk was a knockdown assembly a couple weeks ago. Last week I built the shelves with Popular hardwood boards and 1/4" plywood with Popular veneer.

Dug out my original Waterproof camera. Another Olympus but this one is 8MP. Originally a 5-18.2mm zoom lens but the button to activate the telephoto died back in 2016, at which time I retired the camera. This is an 8MP CCD sensor camera. Despite the low MP count this camera captures better detail, than the more recent Fuji and Oly CMOS sensor cameras. Turns out there is also an internal battery drain, so the camera will now be fully retired to the trash bin.

P52_WEEK44EXT_ALTERNATECAMERA_IMG_0190_FF.jpg

This week, it was time to take out my first camera again, a now 20 year old Olympus C-5050 Zoom. Shooting with it was fun, but veeery slow, and posed some unique challenges. I, for example, saved the first couple of shots to the wrong memory card and later struggled to get these images off the camera.

Collected two developed films. I have to admit that it is true what everyone is saying - having the first look into the images is quite exciting :) it is quite expensive to develop the film (21€ for one roll developed, on usb stick and printed) - have to look into the topic that @mollyc mentioned in another thread about developing it on my own.

Oh, I only develop BW right now - I haven't attempted to dev color. But I do scan all my film, color and bw, which knocks the processing fee by over half for me. I'm lucky that I have a local lab about 5 miles away where I can have film developed, often next day if I time it properly and they aren't super busy.

I love the second one here! What camera/films did you use?

Thank you! I used a Leica M5 with a Summaron 35mm 2.8 on these images.

I used a Kodak Gold 200 and since the camera is apparently still working, I just ordered some films ( Portra 400 & 800 since everyone is hyping them and an Ilford 400). Can't wait to use the camera again. :D

Kodak Gold is my favorite. I also recently bought Color Plus which is similar but I haven't used it yet.
