P52 Week 50: Bokeh (December 10 - December 16)

Been working on photographing my dad's wood carvings as I prepare to sell or give them away. This shot taken a couple of days ago fits the topic. Shows the rather difficult hand cut dovetail joints where the two pieces were not at right angles to each other and the edge itself is also angled.
Olympus TG-6 camera. This time at full wide angle (4.5mm)

Did not manage to take photos besides my daughter as being the main subject of the image. Today, I had the time to take some images that should fit last weeks topic.

Gonna revisit this thread with the new camera. Hand held and in fairly close with the 50mm macro, but not quite 1:1 probably 1:2. Aperture was wide open at ƒ-4. People sometimes forget that one loses at least a stop when focused in tight with a macro lens. I believe back when I was using bellows going in to 1;1 resulted in a 2 stop loss, but that was so long ago I won't swear to it. Of course there was an easy formula to calculate the change. Nowadays the camera does all that for you.
