So... let me get this straight.. you came to an Apple forum frustrated... generated a post that sounds like you want help. You totally ignored any helpful comment people did make, and came back just to post that you are getting rid of all your apple stuff and buying into windows/android? And now are resorting to calling people fanboys?

You obviously had your heart set on switching to Windows/Android already, so why come to the forum at all?

That's funny because I routinely transfer files between PC and Android with a file manager over WIFI without wires. It's my iPads that usually require wires and lack basics like file manager.

For instance, I can back up my whole iOS device to iCloud. Can't do that with the android phone without connecting it to the computer. Since I got my 6S+ almost 2 years ago, I've never had it connected to my laptop so I'm not sure about your comment either.

Well some concrete advice was given, upgrade to ios 10. Have you tried that?

I have an Air, and I was was running an older Os than you until recently. I can say, iOS 10.3 is running well on it, and solved the majority of my crash issues. I probably won't take it to 11 until I hear it does ok (and I don't think it will do great on it), but I would recommend you go to 10 before 11 drops and you are stuck.

I last upgraded to iOS 11 pb3 via iPad Air.

Ran better than iPhone 6 though excellent since pb2 on both devices.

The latest version of Pages requires iOS 10. Either update to iOS 10 or install an older version of Pages from Purchased tab

Good luck on the transition. I'd imagine just upgrading your OS to the current version to fix the issue would have been easy enough, but I guess not. Your way just seems more complicated overall.

It's easy to think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. That said, if you've never experienced the Windows/Android world, I definitely recommend it! I started out on Windows as a child, my first mobile phone was an Android device, and I program on a Windows computer every day. Variety is the spice of life!

It can be difficult to get a good quality Windows laptop under $1000. Android phones can come with bloatware and very limited on device storage so I recommend the Google Pixel phone - I tried it and even though I didn't keep it, it was the best Android experience I've ever had.

You should feel like a fool for selling your stock yesterday. My Apple stock went up near $8 a share yesterday on my 1300 shares, my IRA loves Apple and SO DO I!

Maybe it is just me but I'm questioning whether or not he/she actually has stock. Selling before the iPhone 8 release?

Oh look at me, I have $10 billion in Apple Stock! Just have to trust that I have it I'm going to make a statement that makes everyone upset cuz I can. I just sold my Apple Stock cuz I'm so unhappy!
