Yep the pattern is clear ;)

Clearly my link removes the "en", so maybe the pattern was not so clear. It works though.

Not available until the 26th.

The link I found in the parallels forum is for version 10.0.0.0-27675. I understand the public can't download the new version until the 26th, but for upgrades you can use that link now. I think. I can't test because I don't have a valid version 9 key.I'll download it and see if I can use version 10 in a trial mode.

The link works to download version 10, and it lets you use a trial.

I bought version 7, 8, and 9. I was able to be part of the beta testing for 10 so I got that free and it works great so far. :)

Thanks for this link :)

It runs at least as Trial version for 2 weeks ....

Requires 10.7 Lion now (PD9 runs still with 10.6.8 Snow Leopard) - and 64bit-Kernel-Mode, which is not available on older Macs with EFI32 :(

The Yosemite PB2 Installer from the App Store is recognized and PD10 creates a bootable Image for the Installation in a empty VM.

But the Installation of Yosemite hangs after 10 percent on my machine with 2 GB RAM (I had already the same with VirtualBox) :(

Guys, how can make it my Parallels 10 access to work on iMac late 2013 when in sleep mode? I can wake it up by VNC connection, but if Parallels - it does not wake up... strange... I have checked the Wake Over ethernet . Reading this article it should work but it does not http://kb.parallels.com/en/122033

I have a fast connection, but it doesn't take a whole day to install, took me like 3 minutes from starting download, reinstalling parallel tools, to working in my VM.

Having installed Parallels 10 in DP6, I have to say, there is less than bugger-all difference, between the last Parallels 9 version in DP5 to this.

That is to say, it works exactly as expected.

There is no performance improvement that is even slightly noticeable.

It was perfectly stable in the last build of v9 and is exactly the same in v10.

The only thing that is still concerning me about 10.10 has to do with Bootcamp, which doesn't apply here.

I've used Parallels since version 1. If all their claimed performance improvements were true then Windows under Parallels would be far faster than Windows running natively!

Since they will fix 9, that tells me to not bother with 10 and just buy 11 when OS X 10.11 appears.

True but my days this week are up and out by 7, home by 9-ish, catch up on a TV Show or two from the DVR and back to sleep. Saturday, even though it isn't work related is going to be just as hectic of a schedule.

Today was supposed to be my "sleep-in" day, was up until about 2:45 this morning then my wife wakes me at 7:30 with issues at the office.

As a long-time Parallels Desktop user, I wish they'd just get more transparent with their business model - STOP calling it an upgrade, and call it what it is: a subscription.

I got the free upgrade to version 10 since i got version 9 a couple of weeks ago.

Runs much smoother then 9 on Yosemite.

v9 used to minimize and restore the window location of windows 8 correctly until say a few months ago (even before Yosemite) when following one parallels upgrade it started restoring to a small window in the corner of the screen totally ****** up all the windows in the vm location. very annoying to have to move the windows back to their original locations every time. half of me is wondering if they didn't introduce this 'bug' to get people to upgrade and blame it on Yosemite. Well ok, I bit and upgraded and of course it once again works correctly. Nice to have but has to make you wonder.

I also noticed during the same update that broke the restore of minimized windows it also caused jittering of the mouse cursor in some DirectX games which was smooth before. Unfortunately the cursor is still jittery even in Parallels 10.

I will be one of those people who blindly upgrade on day 1 every year because I use it every day and for work. Really it isn't that much to pay for upgrade support of Windows and OSX as well as tight integration with both OS and the performance does seem to get a boost every iteration. I'm cool with it as a subscription model.

Great, thank you. I'll hold off, I use it so rarely it's hard to justify the upgrade price.

But with later versions of Yosemite, Parallels 8 stops working. It detects it is running a new OS and refuses to load, instead inviting you to purchase the upgrade to 10.

Not true -- it's something that Apple is doing that prevents it to run, not a version check in Parallels. Parallels 8 worked in the first developers preview, stopped working in the second, but is working now in the latest. Parallels 9 worked until preview 5 (I believe) but Parallels has promised to fix the issue if Apple doesn't.

A problem with parallels is it is always inviting you to upgrade to the latest version, whether or not the version you are running works.

I've had Parallels 10 installed on Yosemite DP6 long enough to actually get some use out of it, It is much better with battery life. It is also very stable now, I had version 9 installed for a long time on Yosemite and it crashed every 20 minutes, I haven't had any problems with this version yet, and it appears to use about 1GB less memory

I take back what I said about Parallels 10 seemingly had fixed the minimize restore of windows 8.1 window locations and vm window size. It does the same thing as 9 did completely ****** up the desktop on restore and requiring me to resize and move all my windows back to where they were almost every time.
