I've been watching these boards every day for the last 3 months. My computer was stolen in March and I've been computerless for several months now. After the speculated updates didn't happen in the second Tuesday of July, I figured it would be at least til August, but the consensus on the boards here was they weren't coming til September. So I bit the bullet and bought it that Thursday.

I can't imagine going computerless for several months. Should have bought that iMac back in March IMO :rolleyes:
 
Allentown store employee cost Apple a customer

So sad. A friend of mine, who I successfully converted to Macs some time ago, bought a new top level iMac on Sunday (didn't talk to me first). I told him to take it back on Tuesday, which he did. Store manager was a douchebag and would not waive the restocking fee. Pissed my friend off so much, he returned the machine, paid the fee, and is going to buy a new windows machine. Tragic, but frankly I can't fault him too much. Told him I'll help build a Hackintosh. Apple has NOTHING if it does not give a better customer experience.
