Hmm I'll update on my virgin iPad 2 that has no jailbreak because it is factory 4.3.5 and see how ios5 is

Then if I like it I'll get ios5 for my ip4 my jb ip4 has features that I really don't want to let go. Mostly trying out jb apps before I buy them but hey almost all my apps are paid for so I probably won't miss jb so much.

I'll be getting ip4s on Friday launch so maybe I can wait until then?

I'll download iOS5 and jailbreak it as soon as people stop getting errors when they upgrade.

I already have a tethered jailbreak (4.3.5 ), so I don't mind being tethered with iOS5. I've only run into a problem where my phone died twice, so tethered doesn't bother me.

I can't survive without biteSMS.

I will upgrade. I figure what I use jailbreak for the most is SBSettings and Lockinfo, and while I will jailbreak once an untethered is available, I want to try going vanilla for a while, just to get a taste for the difference (I've hardly ever used a non-jailbroken phone). There are small stuff that's in the nice to have category, such as Infinifolders, TetherMe, and the odd app preview through Installous, but I can go without all of those for a while. I hope.

NO!!!!
theres nothing in ios 5 that is better than the existing JB

Judging from the reports of the speed differential, I think that I will give it a try.

The two things I'll miss the most are MyWi On Demand and iBlacklist.

Then I'll decide if it's worth tethered jailbreak to get those things.

I don't have many Cydia applications. But it has been my experience that the biggest and best of them, especially the ones most closely associated with Cydia, will preserve your license.

iBlacklist and MyWI I've never had to go to any trouble getting them to work again.
