how is one supposed to clean a milanese loop?
I just use a toothbrush.. I've splashed food once and have had to brush it out. Given I just work in an office though so I don't get my watch exposed to the elements. I really like the Milanese Loop band though! Btw here's my scratched-up clasp:

It's the most handsome option, the best value, and the infinite adjustment is useful. But I don't find it as comfortable as the sport band, and only wear mine when I need something dressier than rubber.

An option for those scratches is to polish the finish yourself. Then you can always polish out scratches. It will probably void the warranty, but it might look cool.

I got a 3rd party Milanese loop replica and love it. From what I can tell the replica is very high quality (have had it over a month now and wear it everyday during work). Have a few colleagues who bought the Apple OEM one and they can't tell the difference even on close look.

I like the look of the Milanese loop. I think it's still unique enough to stand out and it is very comfortable. I have to make small adjustments here-and-there during the day but that's not even a minor inconvenience.

What 3rd party brand did you go with? There are quite a few of them out there!

Do you have any pictures of it? It's obviously a great price but would love to see some pictures!
I could post some pics later but I can assure you that it is virtually indistinguishable from the OEM Apple band. In fact it's so close to the OEM ones I've seen in person that I wonder if these aren't bands that made their way "off" the assembly line somehow. The adapter is a perfect fit, the loop is quality with no kinks, and the magnet is strong.

I just received an ebay milanese loop and these are my thoughts as well. VERY impressed with the quality.

Well took your word for it and just purchased one!!

I saw that the sale is running out by the end of the day today so I wanted to try to get one while its just over 20 bucks. I will def. let you know how it is. I'm really hoping its just like the OEM Apple band because I really did not want to pay $150 for it or even $130 "Open Box" through Best Buy.

I'm sure you'll be pleased. I had a friend buy one and he loves it, too.

I have this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/201392887064
Quality is excellent.
But it does loosen somewhat during the day, making me fiddle with it more than say the sportsband.
The outside of the magnetic clasp does catch on metal things I handle, or the keys I have hanging on my waistband which is inconvenient at times.
So I don't usually wear it to work anymore, but use it for more formal wear.

Is the original apple Milanese loop magnet also just as magnetic towards the outside as the inside?
