I have an 9th generation iPad that is still on iPadOS 18. I'm running iOS 27 beta on my phone, but have been reluctant to install on the iPad since there's no way to roll back to iPadOS 18.

Anyone have experience with a 9th gen iPad and the latest iPadOS beta?

Thanks….

Hi. I have an iPad 9 we use as the family kitchen computer and communication hub, and it’s perfect. I had all the 26 pb’s on it, and now the latest 27 pb and it works very nice. Good battery life and performance. The only settings I have changed is “reduced animation” and “fullscreen apps”.

No experience with it, but updating the oldest-supported device is never worth it. I’d stay.

Was absolutely worth it to me on my iPad 9. Also my iPhone 13PM and M1 iPad Pro. Upped the battery life and performance nicely on all 3 of my devices. I have seen many others getting these results with the 27 betas also.
