Persuade Me Either Way: To iPad or not to iPad

I've been tossing around the idea of getting an iPad for a long time.

On one hand I'm already set with a MacBook Pro and a 3rd Gen iPod Touch. However for some reason I still find myself researching endlessly and playing with the iPads at the Apple store.

I just wouldn't know if I'd need it or not. If my MacBook Pro is used primarily for school stuff, photoediting, AutoCad, etc... Do I have any reason to get one?

Another waste of "help me decide something" thread. There are only a million of these here. Why not use the search and save us all the trouble..... The fact that you decided to create this useless thread is proof enough that you can decide something on your own. Do you really need people to guide you through life?

I have a 15" mbp and an iPhone 4 and I just recently purchased my iPad like 5 days ago. I say do it! why wait? The only thing I regret was waiting this long to get.
