Phasing out Nehalem?

Also wondering about this, OP. I almost bought a standard config entry Mac Pro from last gen, but then thought about getting the current one through the ADC store because of the 5770.


Then I thought whether I should wait for the refresh....in case they phase out the entry Nehalems.

its basically the same processor as the early 09 just clocked a little higher! If I'm going to buy direct from apple it should be at the right time.

yup--and then.. maybe a basic hexacore becomes entry... and then.. I finally take a bite of the apple.
