its safe to say that stability wise iOS 10 is a joke right now. there is no reason a software should be public that is causing this many resprings and lag/stutter issues on a brand new phone. Its starting to become the same story every year from apple
Or we can say, a new norm.

My camera freezes more than 50% of the time when I use it from the lock screen. I have to then unlock the phone, open the camera app upon which it is still frozen, and then close the app. After that I open the app again and have to wait for a few seconds for the camera to work correctly.

Edit:
This is on an iPhone 7+ running 10.0.2.

Yep, this happened once to me when in the camera app. Seems to be triggered right when you take a picture.

This just happened to me for the first time today. I seemed to encounter it when I went into messages and opened the camera to take a picture. Once I hit send, it crashed and reloaded with the lock screen
This happened to me a couple times doing this exact thing. On the iPhone 7+

6S+ with 10.0.2 - no resprings so far but frequent camera animation freezes when doing swipe on lock screen, also sometimes camera cannot focus. Never had this issue before 0.2...

This makes me feel better being on 10.1 public beta 1 over 10.0.2 at least I have portrait mode :)

This happens to me using the take photo in the message app and in snap chat. Anyone else see this in snap chat?

Just stopped in here to report that I have had this happen twice in the 2 weeks that I've had my 7+ 128. Both were while trying to take a picture.

No resprings on my 7 plus 256 on 10.1 beta. I have seen the camera freeze when opening, just switched to the front camera then back again to get it to move again. Has happened twice so far.

Other than that it's been a solid bug free release for me. Phone was restored from a 6S plus backup then a settings reset, which is how I upgraded all of my previous handsets.

It probably restored from backup mature bits of iOS code :p

Also, sometimes when I open the camera app, the scene will be frozen until I close out of it, end the process, and reopen.
I have that issue since iOS 9 on my 6S Plus. But according to Apple and their apologists, it's a non issue. DFU restores, factory resets, nothing helps. Once in a day, the cam will freeze with blurred background. Happens on all 3 iPhones in my household. So may be it might be "By Design"

Or maybe I am opening up the camera app wrong.
