I’ve literally come off a chat with Apple and asked the same thing. I think it’ll just be ignored because technically you’ve got 2 extra months use out of it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I assume we can upgrade as normal next September then, and they won't create any problems re: the reduced number of payments made.

I mentioned that too but the rep carefully avoided that question. I mean they don’t really know what’s going to happen next year to be honest.

Am i guessing this correct? It looks like the 24-month plan on the app, is the same as the 20-month iPhone payments plan (instore only), just spread over an additional 4 months?

I usually buy over 20 months with iPhone payments. After 12 months, when the new iPhone arrives, i pay off the last 8 months and sell my iPhone (Carphone Warehouse last year). The iPhone is always worth more than what you owe. Then start a new 20-month with the new iPhone.

If you sell it in private then you can do that seamlessly without any issues anyway.

To be honest I think having to go to store for iUP will put a reasonable number of people off this year (myself included).

If it was online/post-in as per the US, I would most likely upgrade. As it stands I cant be doing with making an unnecessary 40 mile round trip to pick up and process in store with things as they are in and around my local Apple store area.

Really expected Apple to have this resolved.
