There are certainly some interesting places and things to explore. But you live in a beautiful country and are also on the doorstep of all that Europe has to offer. Don't fall under the spell of "The Grass is Always Greener"
Watching the Tour D' France the last two weeks, some awesome scenery and the mountains. Spent two weeks in England many years ago, made it up to Wales and a lot of castles.

Poor guy, looks like he had some surgery.
Yes he did. He was a stray cat almost need death when my daughter found him and took him in. Over a year later he started to get sick and when we took him to the vet they found that he had a very bad hernia the whole time that the other vet didn't see. The hernia was so bad that 5 other organs were through the hernia and sitting on his lungs. Poor guy was in bad shape but now living like a king.

I have an out side cat that looks just like him, kind of feral but fixed. The front porch is his domain. He was completely feral when I moved here 7 years ago, now he loves to have his tummy rubbed and is at my door at 6am waiting for breakfast. Loves to lie next to me on the porch. Can’t have him inside because he sprays.
