Decaying stump - some new life starting within a 'pocket' fold.
I thought you were going to point out the ‘face’ in the tree. Looking right out…

In the stump I saw its giant closed eyes , actually almost 4 eyes , a sad face because it's down.
Here's another natural face , but this one's in a living tree.
