Mother mallard and her young heading in same direction.
.. a pair of Canada geese w/young, encountered on a narrow walkway leaving an apartment courtyard ... at the time, I was definitely not too sure they were friendly to pass. I talked softly to the male, and told him, along with hand signal gestures, he really should move his family to the left and let me by. He responded to my "geese talk", and did exactly what had been asked. I thnked him as I passed by!!

Ok, I'm posting bird picture, but with some other stuff in th frame to maybe break us out of this bird rut we seem to be stuck in.
Oh, I almost missed this opportunity to show off Alfred as he was flying by......
