.. a National Historic Site, Hope, BC -- the longest continually-operating church (Anglican) on the mainland of BC - completed in 1861 - Gothic Revival architecture. (taken during a walkabout back in 2019 - wish I could have replaced with a better & more recent view, but seem to be having "whatever & why" with my photos at this time).

An excellent day trip from Barcelona (like Toledo is a day trip from Madrid), except the bus just give you three hours. Train is a little mor flexible but would miss the intermediate stop at the Colonia Guell pictured earlier. With the time restriction, skipped the line to the black virgin shown above the altar as it stretched from the front door.

The only residents are about 80 monks and the boys choir.
