Best way to get around SF, this is the Powell Street & Hyde line. They are famous, but for those who may not know, they are not self powered, there is a cable system below ground that they attach to. The red car I posted earlier runs electric motors, power supplied by an overhead wire system.

Yep, the famous cable car ... 2 lines actually running and invented in1873

Have you noticed that the pace is slowing as we have to start digging a little deeper into the archives?

I have to say that the digging is a lot of fun. I'm seeing stuff I barely remembered.
