I know a lot of people didn't like Disco, but that era was very good to me. I built the sound and lighting systems for more than 140 clubs from Hawaii to Bermuda and North up to Thunder Bay, Ont.!

The most complex lighting system I designed and installed. 8 channels of 8 Neon segments built around a building column. 8 segments individually controlled to chase in various patterns, then by flipping switch, 8 'donuts' would chase the same way. Vertical neon tubes were installed and supported inside 4" pyrex chemical drain pipes. They said you couldn't dim neon, but I did! 15" JBL woofers mounted in floor cabinets that vented under dance floor to outer floor vents. Only photo I have was taken from a Toronto Hospitality Magazine ad for the interior design company.

Disco was in when I was at the University of Oregon...used to don my three-piece suit and "Dance, Dance, Dance"! 😂

I graduated high school 1980, went roller skating every weekend 11th and 12th grade. Rock and disco played at the rink, spinning mirror bulb 🪩 and all.

While I mostly a rocker, I did dance disco

also.
