Atop Brinkley Bluff, the highest point on the Larapinta Trail. It's quite an interesting place that has a helicopter landing pad.

#Larapinta Trail 2005-27 – West to East: Standley Chasm to Jay Creek
Solalex, Switzerland with the closest town, Gryon. Solalex is a great pasture/stream/hiking area with a restaurant and a couple shops at the base and a farmhouse at the top. The skylights on the roof of the house were the only entrance in the winter. You have the option of the "blue bus" or hiking. We met for a family picnic at the top and hiked down.
This was a Photoshop exercise...and I am loving the new object selection tool. The "General Sherman" is the photo op sequoia in Sequoia National Park. The line to photograph in front of it was about an hour long. I took a photo of someone else taking their photo, then cloned them out for a "clean" base photo. Then off to the side, another visitor took a group photo, including myself, with my camera which I then extracted the group and layered/resized it into the clean photo.
