OMG! Horrific incident tie-in. A place I used to go for seminars and such (really just excuses for a little debauchery) had just installed a Butterfly House! They had quite a few different varieties of them, flitting about. So someone I lightly know brought their spawn in to 'see the butterflies'. They went into an area separated from the main area because it has 'rare butterflies'. Well, one lands on their spawn's arm, and he, with apparently no hesitation at all, SMASHES IT! Several other people I do know better witnessed the whole thing. One guy in particular pointed out, during the dinner, that *someone* was raising a serial killer, or at least a psychopathic murderer, and left it at that. He did say it in a joking manner and several people laughed, but the parents were sufficiently chastised, and their reaction apparently let most know who's child they were referring to. Most people were laughing, up until they self owned. The joker was labeled a butt head for mentioning it, and things moved on.

I've been disinterested in going in one since. I'm too afraid I'll step on one or something. (I have enough things to atone for)

But I do love butterflies, and set out fruit to try to draw them. It hasn't quite worked as well as I had hoped, but... Bees are awesome too...

And I hate snakes. Never really figured it out either... I've been known to scream. Spiders aren't so bad, but I knew someone who was VERY afraid of spiders. They rolled a car because a spider popped out of their dashboard air vent. They totaled the car, but survived with a few scratches. They said, triumphantly, that the spider was DOA... *shrug*

Oh, I do get a little queasy if the spider crunches when I step on it.
