Photo Editing Program Advice/Recomendations...

I shoot with a Nikon D60, and the trial versions of their software (when it worked on my current 9 year old PC, that is...) was not that impressive to me. Then again, I'm relatively new at the photography game. I want to be able to print eventually, but right now a decent photoprinter is not in the budget.

If you're not really familiar with software (you just worked a bit with the trial version on an outdated computer), don't give out warnings or recommendations.

Nikon's RAW converter software has an excellent reputation for quality (while it may have a steeper learning curve, just like Canon's DPP).
