Found this cat outside.. decided to try and take a picture of it without running it off. I was trying to go for the semi-creepy haunted house theme.

This year's tomatoes...

...and a few other things like peppers and herbs. It's just a wide snapshot, but I thought I'd share... ;) I'll see how things go this summer since I dug out the beds to a depth of 24" and put new soil/compost mix--that was work, whew!

what is it that you exactly shot? i know its water or something, i mean. was it outside, did you spray water propellant on something. i like it a lot. like the water is really nicely focused.

Thanks. It is drops of water on a piece of clear glass (with RainX to help the water bead up) and then under the glass is a mirror. So what you see in the drops is an image of the bottom of the drops on the glass.

HDR made from one RAW in Photomatix. Then fine tuned in Photoshop.

My second attempt at HDR photography turned out sooo much better than my first attempt! :D

Not too sure if anyone realises that the sky is fake >_< lol. Whilst editing, for some reason PS wouldn't allow me to use filter on the sky layer :S - I wanted warp it a little to match the fisheye's curve :S

Here is the original image :p

Umm, actually it's..

Even the world's largest dime is still only worth ten cents.

Canadian dime! Nicer dimes, worth slightly less.

A five cent piece ! This is the famous "Big Nickel" one of those huge highway side attractions. This one is something like 9 metres across. It was a tribute to Sudbury's nickel mining industry and was modeled after a 1951 five cent piece and has been a landmark for the last 45 + years. This is the obverse of the coin. I have an appointment near the site Monday so I'll try to post the reverse side which is much more interesting. These days, the Loony, the CDN dollar, is trading higher than the US greenback so the nickle is worth, what, 5 cents ??

I enjoy your work very much, definitely cool stuff. Just one bit of constructive criticism. I'm not sure how much post process tweaking you do or if it's just how you have the lighting set up, but it looks like the character's leg who is standing above your subject is glowing. For some reason my eye went right there, maybe because it's the center of the shot, but just thought I'd mention it.
