As iPhone photos go, not technically very good, but the two dogs racing around the garden today just begged for a shot.
The lurcher (greyhound cross) is going flat out, and the little black mongrel is doing his best to keep up, hence the blurring.

I've shared this photo before. It's from 2013. Taken with a Leica MM and 50mm f/2 lens. I've always really liked this crop of the original, but the problem has always been that it was a very extreme crop that resulted in file sizes that were too small to print. Even when upsampled in PS, I wasn't happy with the resulting files.

Recently I became aware of some new software from Topaz labs (https://topazlabs.com/gigapixel-ai) that lets you upsample files in a way that I think is better than PS. Going to create a thread with examples (not sure it is appropriate for the POTD thread).

Anyway, here is my resultant image after upsampling in Gigapixel AI. This is what I had always wanted the image to look like.

Fujifilm X-T3 + Fujinon 56mm f/1.2 @ 1.2

I like using the 56/1.2 on the street. It's not my usual street focal length, but it can create a cool frame wide open.

Is he a friend of yours? Or just someone you happened to see and liked the framing? I like the idea of street photography but get hung up on the right to privacy kind of things. I know that in public there is no right to privacy, but often you still have to have a model release/permission if the person is identifiable.
