An early-am walk this morning .. finally a white rhododendron worth capturing. So many have been "burned" by our April frosts.
Lunch time walk at work yesterday.
Locked to the fence and forgotten. Cut the lock off and let some kid fix it up!

Shark teeth so plentiful this Venice Beach known for shark teeth that they embedded some in the concrete sidewalk outside the restroom. We found more than twice that many in the surf by sifting the beach sand.
OLD SKOL. A large(ish) metal sculpture made from bits of old farm machinery. The cowbell on the handlebar should give some indication of size. Located in Lundbreck, Alberta.

I have to update my previous identification, , my apologies:
it's a Balkan anemone not a Brasco violet as I suggested few days ago.
They look alike though. Having encountered the real flower I had the chance to verify it
First I took a photo with the iPhone , which suggested the correct name. ?
