The ground cover Speedwell or Veronica, spreads out across the ground in the higher mountain areas here in rural Oregon. Spring is really here or on it's way!
Those are mums I saved this winter bringing them inside the house. Now they are happily blooming outside
My Granddaughter just had her 9th birthday. Nine! She is a huge "Swiftie" and her presents included a Taylor Swift purse, bracelets, TS new CD, the infamous hat as seen here and a birthday cake with a picture of Taylor Swift on it! Whether it's a child or a grandchild, grab every moment..it may be trite to say but it's true: THEY GROW UP FAST!

Very special spot, the former palace serves as the Hellenic parliament and the soldiers in the photo are guarding the tomb of the unknown soldier.

Qantas Freight Boeing 767-381F
It doesn't look like that anymore - the "Freight" text is the same font as the Qantas logo type and in Qantas red, while the tail has the white "New Roo" logo.
I have a lot of historical photos like that of planes that have long since gone off to aircraft heaven. I got plenty of photos of the last Wunala Dreaming "VH-OEJ" - that was always beautiful to see.
The most unique was the five-engined 747-400. I was lucky to catch a Qantas 747-400 ferrying a broken engine back using the 747's fairly unique 5th pod ability. Also seen them moving a good engine for another 747 in this manner.

.. one final shot of "pink blossums in the park" -- taken a couple weeks ago during a walkabout when the blossums were in full bloom.
