Somewhere in Florida…taken with iPhone 16 Pro. Really wished I remembered this photo for the Noir weekly photo contest. After I had already posted my entry I saw this one in one of my Memories on the photos app. I edited it a little and really wished I could have used it…oh well. (This is the original version)

Oops, almost forgot to post something today!
Common cranes, Bjurum, Hornborgasjön, Sweden, 3 April 2025. Nikon D5200.
Similar to some areas in Fairbanks, Alaska when a great number of cranes and other birds fly North through Canada and then Alaska. They congregate to rest for long periods of time along the way. There is a popular area in Fairbanks that has been allocated to these birds (Creamer's Field). Once the season is over and winter approaches in the North, the birds flying South stop to rest through Alaska and Canada.

From Branch Brook Park today . The next week or so doesn't look promising re:weather , so figured I'd take a chance and drive over hoping the cherries were near peak .
This is how it looks, when we Swedes see the sun for the first time in April😂
