Beautiful. Photography can certainly be a welcome distraction at times. I have found that during my own trials.Similar to the one above, but a few seconds apart. In March 2023 was a year of sadness for my family and I because our oldest son passed away at a hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska. At least on this November night the Auroras were nothing but beautiful, which brought me a happy moment while taking photos and thinking of my son. However, I just didn't have the urge to edit the photos-until now that is
But never enjoyed the editing part much!
I hope things are getting easier (but never easy).

My dining table was highly polished, so I put the rings on it, and a vase with flowers was placed behind so that the reflection showed up on the table.

Time helps a little. I was lucky to have taken a great number of photos of all my children on film and then digital cameras. Looking at my son's photos brings back happy moments, but it does the opposite to my wife.
Yes, photo-editing has gotten a little boring, so I edit a few with DXO Photo Lab/NIK bundle, and don't tough the computer for weeks at a time.

My daughter hated having her picture taken, so I have very few images of her. We rarely look at them though.

I prefer looking at your beautiful Northern Lights photos. One of my bucket list photo shoots I’ll probably never get to shoot.
