I thought these looked interesting at the time.
I quite like the colors. Maybe a tighter crop would work better, just pots and bricks with a bit of grass/plant. Just my two cents.

I meant to tell you how much I enjoy and appreciate this. As a lover of simplicity and a water colorist, this really caught my eye.
This is why you chose such a light and ethereal name 🧚♂️. My Mom was a painter and water colorist as well
I've always been fascinated by water color painting.
Thank you, fairyfae and katbel! I had started out intending to shoot the image and process it in B&W but then decided that the colors and textures were so interesting on their own that I would stick with the color after all. It does look rather painterly-like, doesn't it?
Actually, no painting involved, no special software art filters or techniques. I used my 90mm macro lens with a closeup lens on top of it in order to get in really, really close....
