All I can say is, oh my goodness! Absolutely amazing. I wish I had just a tenth of that creativity. Thank you for sharing.

Because this is his home (his shop is less than 2 miles from my house), his work is really popular here and you see a lot of it in the posher stores and offices, no doubt as a status symbol.

I know I am breaking the rules. I apologize in advance. These obviously aren't submitted for their quality. Just scanned them in and putting up to tell a story. I won't post again today.

This is 25 years ago, I was still an active duty recruiter in the Navy for a few more months, Sue's an EE at IBM, we're not even married for a year yet, and both getting our graduate degrees. It's our first apartment, and the kitties are Buddy and Baby. They were brother and sister, and absolutely adored each other. A few months after we got them, baby escaped through a torn window screen and got killed by a car. We were heart broken, and I don't think Buddy ever got over it. Buddy was the best cat ever, and as I said in another post, we are now actively looking for a new kitty. Ben (our Cockapoo) needs a companion, and it has been a long time since we have had a cat. We are all looking very forward to the new family member. Happy New Year everyone!

His work is fantastic. This Chihuly piece is in the foyer of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Here in Seattle, we have the large Chihuly Garden and Glass museum/exhibition at the Seattle Center. And just down the road in Tacoma, is his Museum of Glass, with a complete hot shop – really interesting to visit.

Some of the best cats come to you.

Out for a walk late yesterday afternoon with the dog and family and of course eye spying everything. I got a couple good shots of the moon through the trees, but decided to take a shot of a Sweetgum to see what I could do with it. I hate these things lying all over the ground. It's like natures pollution just discarded all over the walkway. And, if you don't watch out and you step on one the wrong way, you can have your feet come flying out from under you...like stepping on a marble. They really hate bare feet in the yard also. Sorry for rambling on.

So I took the challenge to turn this little thing I have so much disdain for, into art. Shot with ProCamera on my iPhone 13PM. Edited on my iPad Pro with Affinity Photo and Color Splash. My son and wife liked the way it turned out, but they are my two biggest fans.🥰
