Another photo taken (iPhone 15 Pro Max) while driving to my parents. Posted a somewhat similar photo in last month's POTD thread. I cropped out the highway* and commercial stuff which made it look like a panoramic shot. No filters or edits. Was really magic lighting. A lot of noise using the 5x zoom, but again, it was cropped in quite a bit more than the total shot due to the less attractive highway/commercial buildings on bottom of original.

*Wife was driving, so nobody was in danger while this photo was taken 😃

.. a wonderful photo of a posture, which shows their amazing, external anatomical structure .... on a side note: have not seen a grasshopper in 'these parts' since I was a kid (way back when!!) .. used to enjoy finding and catching them, and having them 'spit' (what we used to call "tobacco juice") on our hands when held (before all were released back to where caught). Thanks for bringing back these memories!!
