I made a point to visit Awery Bakeries before its sign could be removed or defaced and to take some photographs of the abandoned building. It's somewhat melancholic to witness the current state of Awery Bakeries, as a piece of local history gradually disappears into obscurity. (Livonia, Michigan)

They went out of business - A lot of people in the Metro Detroit loved their bumpy cake and it was even sold under Sanders.

I dropped off film today from my new to me Leica M3. I had trouble with the rewind so hoping the film is okay. The camera shop called it a Franken Leica because it is a combo of two M3 bodies and then some M2 parts to replace some other parts. It came with a Summarit 50mm f/1.5 lens, which the camera shop guy said came "free" because it wasn't a great lens but he wanted to make it a kit.
Also today I got an M to Z mount adapter so put the lens on my Z6ii. Reviews are correct that it's low contrast, but it is actually quite sharp even at f/2.8, although perhaps hard to tell in this image (focus was on the blanket fold at the back of the chair). Fingers crossed some of my film comes out when I pick it up tomorrow.
