Portage Glacier is at the end of the lake. There were actually quite a few people out there, but I just got the picture of the one.Where on earth is he going? That is a great use of scale. Wow! nature does big in style!

Nice job. Without him there the composition wouldn't work for me.Portage Glacier is at the end of the lake. There were actually quite a few people out there, but I just got the picture of the one.
Thanks, and I agree I would have had to do a different composition to make it work if he hadn't been walking by.Nice job. Without him there the composition wouldn't work for me.
Starting to edit my pictures from this last weekend. I liked this one of a snowshoer out on a frozen lake. I thought it did a good job of capturing the size of the mountains.

Another one from this weekend. Taken just south of Anchorage, it is 5 or 6 pictures stitched together in Lightroom to make the panorama. Comments always welcome.

Thanks, there are a few more to come, although I might be switching to Northern Lights pictures for the next few days. I finally have a clear night with not much moon tonight, and a good forecast for them. And as a bonus it will only be -3 or -4 F if I'm able to go out to shoot.Loving this series!
