Taken with a Panasonic GM1, a camera I only had for a fairly short time. The lack of controls (not to mention a hot-shoe weren't working for me. However, if you can view that photo at full resolution, you'll see why I really regret giving away that cheap as chips Panasonic 35-100. A fantastic little lens for the money.

I've got a filter for drinking water. It'll clear that up. Although I try to spot this first and flush the lines. As it'll plug that filter real quick. I'd like a whole home filter. I'm just worried that it'll mean I won't notice when the water's gone dirty. Then burn through an expensive filter in a couple days.
In-line UV for the bacteria. And wash-able filters, like the one's on the Berkey

I like Panasonic cameras. Had a kit lens that came with a GX85 - super sharp

Ah, I was thinking of those ultra fine filters you just have to toss. As I think the discoloration is rust when the system is shocked. The city pipes are all iron pipes. Mine are copper.

Maybe look into marine filtration. Those filters deal with all sorts of crap. Your filters need to filter heavy metals - excess iron is not beneficial.

Washable filters would be cheaper than buying new. The Berkey has 2 filters in one water canister that will last 6-years on average use and are washable.

Now back on topic -
