Another Natural Bridge shot. This one from August, 1975 shot on 4x5. Would have liked to have used a smaller aperture but the Type S film would lose it if you went below 1/10 of a sec shutter speed. That is going to ƒ-32 would have had the shutter speed at 2 seconds or longer with some contrast loss as well.

BTW I just had this printed at 11x14 and am delighted with the result. Also note that some time between 1972 and 1975 the picnic shelter was removed.
Extacolor Type-S film(C-22), Schneider 127mm Xenar lens, ƒ-16 @1/10th.

A Bald eagle came so close to my windows , I could have had a better shot than this one
Of course I had to run and get the camera: the eagle was still doing a circle before disappearing over the roofs .

Good catch! We had a Bald Eagle and an Osprey close to the house the other day (at different times) but both took off before I could get a shot of them. It is funny watching the crows get bent out of shape whenever the raptors show up.

Just went for a short walk after writing the above and of course I had a Bald Eagle about 50 ft. over my head for around 15 minutes - and no camera.

I think the eagle's name is Alec...
Alec Bald-win😁

I should probably see my self out...

Thanks! She is much better. ❤️ She was boarded overnight on Friday and apparently that is overly stressful for her sometimes (she has been boarded multiple times over the years, and at this facility several times as well)...but she was prescribed some antibiotics and is eating again and on the mend. Her vet didn't think she'd eaten anything she wasn't supposed to....most likely just some separation anxiety. This is the second time overall she's had the same issues coming home from boarding, and they were at two different places...I guess she just prefers to be with us. 🙂
Which is why we rescued another dog to be companion to our Milly. Things have been much better on the separation front since then.

Cheers :)

Halley doesn't have any trouble when she is left home alone during the day. But of course she has her own stuff and isn't being pestered. I doubt she can nap easily when she boards at a larger facility because it's all cage/crate free. I'm looking into a couple of smaller places to leave her in the future; with families with just one or two dogs so she can have a playmate but not be overwhelmed. At home she doesn't cause trouble when left alone. It's maybe not actual separation anxiety when boarding but just TOO MANY other dogs...unfortunately she can't tell us. :(
