A rainy day shot of the upstream side of the Natural Bridge near Field, BC. If memory serves that is the Kicking Horse River.
Ektacolor 5254 35mm movie film, ~1972.

I love this photo! It would be fun to visit or stay a night there.

Nice shot. What gear are you using for your macros?
Thank you! The majority of the time, the Sony A7R V and Sony 90mm f/2.8 macro lens. Sometimes I also add a closeup filter which can bring things in even more closely, but I honestly don't recall now whether or not I did with this particular image. Probably, as I did pull out that filter on a couple of occasions last week. Other times I use one of my other macro lenses or even the close-focusing non-macro 24-70mm, but that 90mm macro is really my favorite and the one for which I reach most frequently.

I recently picked up the Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro Lens, really an excellent piece of glass, with IQ equal to my Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM (no image stabilization). Macro is both fun and challenging.

The center looks like a lemon jelly candy: yummy
Nice effect!
Thank you! Lemon anything, from the actual fruit to its juice to anything flavored with it is definitely a favorite around here -- I squirt a bit of lemon juice on lots of things, and I am especially fond of Maynard Bassetts Sherbet Lemons hard candies, available from the UK.

Back on topic with regard to the image itself, yes, It really is surprising when one can visually get in really close to a plant or flower and truly admire its innards and notice the texture and moisture available there....
