.. like your vases!! I like vases as well, mine are mostly ceramic, especially raku pottery - fine by themselves, or with dried plant arrangements.

When did you do this, first time, were you guided , how many days, etc.
It's a slide scan from 1980. A buddy and I were attempting one of the first alpine-style ascents of the West Face of Mt. Huntington by a new route. We were in there for 32 days, got very high but were weathered off short of the summit. The picture is actually of me, taken by my buddy with my camera. The first ascent of the original route was made famous by Dave Roberts in his book, The Mountain of My Fear. I got married 3 weeks after my return (wedding was predicated on our survival).

Thanks. I was happy to get any pics. Besides the difficulty of shooting on highly technical climbing terrain, I had dropped my Nikon camera just before we flew into the Range, breaking the exposure meter; I had to shoot everything by guesswork.
Woke up to this glorious view this morning...
they all opened properly for me on my phone
