So I had a moment of nostalgia a few days ago. I remembered my trip to France in 1981. What stuck in my mind was a toy jeep I bought. I still have the jeep but had lost the trailer and hood. So I went off to eBay expecting either not to find one or find it was worth a kings ransom. I not only found one but probably paid about the same as I did all those years ago. It arrived today.

Seattle Fishermen's Memorial, not far from my home. Memorial plaques are inscribed with the names of more than 500 local commercial fishermen and women who have been lost at sea since the beginning of the 20th century, including the name of my younger brother's former housemate.

Mts from left to right are Mt Shavano/Tabeguache Peak, then Mt White, Mt Antero, and then separated Mt Princeton to most right of distant tall peaks. Beautiful area and walk up in to Mts to SE above Salida was awesome.
