I find this Limber Pine more fascinating and harder to photograph than it's better known cousin the Burmis Tree.

I heard the lake Mead is drying up significantly year after year.
Yeah, it’s sad and there’s a massive loss of water. It looks so dry now and the water level is extremely low. However, it’s monsoon season in Las Vegas so hopefully, the lake will recover the water.

Sadly it will take more than monsoons for the lake to recover. I am originally from southern CO and it has been increasingly dry there over the last decade. 😔

EDIT : For reference, where the Colorado River begins that feeds Lake Powell and Lake Mead.

Rosson House is located at the corner of North 6th Street and Monroe Street in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It is a historic house museum in Heritage Square. It was built between 1894 and 1895 in the Stick-Eastlake Queen Anne Style of Victorian architecture and was designed by San Francisco architect A. P. Petit, his final design before his death. Named for Dr. Roland Lee Rosson and his wife Flora Murray Rosson, the house changed hands numerous times before being purchased by the City of Phoenix and restored to its original condition. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
