Whew, f1 on a MF sensor. Is the focal plane half a millimeter?
Yes it's much more challenging on the larger sensor! I did manage this particular image at f/4, but usually I have to go to f/5.6 to get anything in focus. On 35mm I'm at f/2.8 or f/4 for the same look.Whew, f1 on a MF sensor. Is the focal plane half a millimeter?
ohh. btw. since it’s a manual focus lens it records all aperture at f/1. there’s no lens data that transfers. i’m pretty sure this one was at f/4.Whew, f1 on a MF sensor. Is the focal plane half a millimeter?

That makes more sense. I figure an f1 MF lens would be one heavy beast anyway! And yeah, you gotta be quick during mosquito season or you may not make it back inside!ohh. btw. since it’s a manual focus lens it records all aperture at f/1. there’s no lens data that transfers. i’m pretty sure this one was at f/4.
That would make an amazing Lock Screen wallpaper.
