.. thanks ... your photo brought back memories of the first view of these birds I had ever experienced -- in a large open field near Fairbanks, Alaska (in the late-1960's), during their northern migration -- the field was almost 'covered' in white, and it was snow geese, not snow!!

They are beautiful. We'll get flocks of them in the fields in the Skagit Valley, north of Seattle, when they are migrating.
