.. thanks ... your photo brought back memories of the first view of these birds I had ever experienced -- in a large open field near Fairbanks, Alaska (in the late-1960's), during their northern migration -- the field was almost 'covered' in white, and it was snow geese, not snow!! :)

They are beautiful. We'll get flocks of them in the fields in the Skagit Valley, north of Seattle, when they are migrating.
