There was a 300mm limit at Nottingham so the 300mm f2.8 was ideal! I had a few people come up and quiz me on length but managed to carry on shooting...Thanks
Lumen Field (pro soccer, football) here in Seattle limits you to 200mm. At T-Mobile Park (pro baseball), it's "Cameras smaller than 6 inches with the lens fully extended are allowed".
